Trauma Focused Therapy is an evidence-based practice for individuals that have experienced some type of trauma in their life. Trauma is when something terrible happens that makes a person feel scared, afraid, and helpless. Some examples of traumatic events include:

• Changes in Behavior
• Physical symptoms of illness (such as headaches, stomach pains)
• Flashbacks or feeling as if the trauma is happening again
