Where you become vulnerable, you find your strength. I believe the therapeutic relationship is integral to therapy and the motivation for change. I am dedicated to providing a safe space with an emphasis on being genuine, providing non-judgmental empathy, and unconditional positive regard.

​I work with  teens, and adults dealing with a variety of concerns including:  depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, behavioral concerns, Bipolar disorder, ADHD,  anger, coping skills, mood disorders, stress, peer relationship issues, OCD, divorce, phase of life issues, conflict,  racial identity, gender/sexuality, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-harm.  

I am an in-network provider for all commercial BCBS, United, Cigna and Aetna plans.

APPROACH

I use an integrative approach where I tailor sessions to your needs drawing from evidenced-base treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, attachment-based therapy, mindful-based practices, and psychoanalysis.

ABOUT ME

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology  from Montclair State University and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors as a Licsensed Clinical Mental Health
